The local station is Silverdale, from where we can collect visitors (and their kit) and cyclists (and their bikes) by prior arrangement, on the line serving Manchester Airport, Barrow, the Cumbrian Coast and Carlisle. Carnforth also receives trains from Leeds. The nearest West Coast mainline stations are Lancaster and Oxenholme South Lake District.

The ‘Bus service from Lancaster to Carnforth is No 55, Stand 15, at half hour intervals and then service No 51 from Carnforth via The Yealands to Silverdale. The ‘bus will drop off at the end of the drive.

By car or motorbike, Junction 35 M6. Those travelling from the South may use the service road from Burton Services. We have 2 EV charging points and for the Classic motoring brigade, a workshop.
